First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to Dark Places for kindly sending me this book. Thankyou!
This is a book that I really Didn't know where to come at from giving this review. It made me angry at first. Reason being is there is no way a woman could write about such a shocking subject as Rape and not even consider to research it before she did. And I was shocked at the way she wrote the father's reaction to Ava after the rape.
My personal feeling's aside, as this was the only issue I had. I carried on with this book. The plot was full on with a Vigilante Justice, poor vs Rich style. The book is graphic with plenty of sex and violence. The story behind that and the way it is played out is worth a read. I didn't expect the ending to be as it was at all.And it blew me away. Mylo Carbia is claimed to be the queen of horror in this book. Personally, I would say queen of shock's! I don't think i'm ever going look at a gravy blaster the same again! :P
