Bleh, I just couldn't get into this. After getting this from my library I couldn't put it down, but I found it a hard struggle. I didn't even read it while I was away visiting family before Christmas that's so unlike me. I just couldn't get into the characters Peter took ages to drop the plot. I did feel a bit of build up, but nothing much more I felt let down by this book to be honest, what with all the hype build up around it. I'm not giving up on Peter Straub as I know from the talisman and The black house his collaboration with Stephen king he can write. Just wasn't for me i guess.
